How to Install hostname software package in Debian 7 (Wheezy)

hostname software package provides utility to set/show the host name or domain name, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install hostname 

hostname is installed in your system.

Make ensure the hostname package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep hostname *

You will get with hostname package name, version, architecture and description in a table
